Are you a modular builder?
No, we are basically one step beyond conventional 'stick' framing. Armstrong takes the plan and panelizes the exterior as well as interior walls in a controlled plant before delivery to site.
What flexibility do I have for designs and plans?
Unlimited flexibility. We are a 100% custom design/supply panelized company and can work with any plan and/or design one for you from scratch. You are not restricted to selecting a plan off our website. We provide pre-priced plans as a way of helping you see what a specific house would cost for preliminary budgeting.
What's included in a “framing package" from Armstrong?

I don’t believe I have time to be an owner-builder, will Armstrong fully complete my custom home?
Absolutely, Armstrong is in the business of building custom turnkey home in many parts of Washington State. However, with Armstrong’s guidance, the owner-builder program may be a viable approach as well.
Do I have to choose one of your plans or can I supply my own?
You can select any plan off the website and/or send us your custom prints. We will also work with you on your design idea's.
Do walls have windows installed and siding applied on them?
Yes, framing package walls typically come with windows installed and sided. However it is not required. Some on-site stucco or masonry work will require only the sub sheathing. We do not install vinyl siding or aluminum siding.
Do you have financing available?
Armstrong can recommend lending institutions to help you get the best financing package available. Many banks prefer to work with the Armstrong method of building because it assures them that the construction will go together smoothly.
How long does the framing package installation usually take?
Once the foundation is measured and the first floor framing is built/poured, the Armstrong Framing Package is completed within 3 to 10 days on average. It will go so quick, guaranteed!!
If I just purchase the framing package, how much will it cost to complete my home?
The cost after the Armstrong Framing Package is in place can vary depending on what types of materials are used to finish the house. Our representatives will be happy to work with you to estimate the total cost of your home if you just purchase a framing package from Armstrong.
Does the plumbing and wiring come in the walls in the framing package?
No, the heating, plumbing, electrical and insulation is installed on-site just as it is on a typical stick framed home.
Do the walls come with drywall installed on it?
No, drywall is installed on-site.
I do not live in the state of Washington, can I still be an owner builder with the Armstrong system?
Yes, Armstrong has sold framing packages all over the United States and around the globe. For our package to be cost effective on a single family home, the states we mainly service are Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, California, Nevada, and Utah. You can be your own contractor and hire subs to finish your project, or hire a local general contractor to oversee the finishing of your home.
