You'll See Armstrong in the Details.
Stronger, Low Moisture Lumber
Armstrong selects kiln-dried lumber with a moisture content of 19% or less. Low moisture lumber eliminates excess water in your home and resists twists, cracks, and mold growth for a healthier home. Before lumber is inspected and used to frame a wall panel, it is stored under cover to maintain quality and eliminate weather damage.

Precision Cutting Insures Accuracy
Once Armstrong’s engineering department scans your home’s blueprints and converts them to detailed ArmSystem™ panel plans, the information is downloaded into technologically advanced laser saw machinery. Each piece of lumber is precision cut per plan. Armstrong’s computerized laser cutting eliminates typical costs of human error.
Wall Panel Perfection

Constructed on an impressive, 350-foot long, panel conveyor line, each ArmSystem™ wall panel, both exterior and interior, is custom assembled per plan, using large scale, high accuracy machinery. This assures every wall to be square and precise to the last 1/16". Siding and windows can be installed on exterior walls in Armstrong’s factory to ensure proper application. This valuable addition saves time and money at the jobsite.
Truss Construction
To insure ArmSystem™ quality, Armstrong constructs its own engineered trusses which have proven to withstand the worst natural disasters such as Hawaii’s Iniki hurricane in 1992 and Japan’s Kobe earthquake in 1995.

Furniture-Quality Finishes
Armstrong features a temperature and moisture controlled millwork-finishing facility where the wood finishes for your home can be beautifully stained or painted. Having your millwork finished at Armstrong reduces toxic emission of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) into your home, creating a healthier environment.
Aesthetic Consistency
Your home’s millwork and doors are likely comprised of several varieties of wood, each reacting uniquely to the same stain or paint. Armstrong has the experience to provide the aesthetic consistency in color you desire.
Labeling

Materials used in an Armstrong home are color labeled and numbered by item. Each item number corresponds to the Jobsite Packing List, the ArmSystem™ Detail Book and the Material Application Plan (MAP), which is the detailed custom plan for your home. Color indicates on which story of the home the material is used.
Eliminating Waste Optimizes Your Homebuilding Dollar
Typical homebuilders order up to 20% more materials than needed to compensate for mistakes in cutting or use. Quality-controlled Armstrong materials and ArmSystem™ construction eliminate wasted materials and unnecessary expense, assuring each of your homebuilding dollars is well spent.
Protective Shipping and Home Site Delivery
Armstrong shipping procedures ensure all materials for each home are unloaded safely with the use of special hooks, cables, and hoisting rings. Extra care in packaging protects the finished items through the entire construction process.
Unmatched Speed and Efficiency

Because exterior and interior wall panels are installed in hours, with siding and windows intact, a typical Armstrong home can become weather-proof and secure against vandalism two to three times faster than a site-built home. Just 10 days after starting ArmSystem™ component installation, a typical Armstrong home is dried in, secured, and the jobsite is immaculate. Whatever home style or size you choose, Armstrong offers you a superior quality home more quickly and affordably than typical builders.
